Measuring Progress

Measurement is not only important in my business process improvement, but it is also again and again important in improving the human condition, making a difference and determining which approaches work and which do not.

You can achieve amazing progress if you set a clear goal and find measurement that will drive progress towards that goal-in a feedback loop to drive best approaches that work.

It is outstanding to see in the video that Bill Gates talks about his foundation great work and how measurement is used to justify progress.

Thanks to cell phones, satellites and cheap sensors, we can gather and organise data with increasing speed and accuracy.
